About
Lolo's Boudoir refers to a woman's intimate space, a space where she is free to be who she is and wants to be. Inspired by both the 17th Century Women's lushly decorated boudoirs and decadent life styles and Virgina Wolf's A Room of One's Own, Lone has created an imaginative and safe space, on and offline, for women's exploration and free self-expression.
With her personal women photography in particular, Lone wants to help women bust through limiting self-perceptions, become comfortable with their intimate, sensual, sexual selves as something sacred and powerful, and ultimately liberate them to express themselves more freely and fully as who they are, all that they are. Because, she knows, that beyond beauty standards and stereotypical images of what sexy looks like, beyond negative self-talk and body issues, beyond trauma and shame, there's is a more complex, more true and beautiful and sexy you. You just have to uncover it and let it shine.
