Clients so often become friends. Britt came to me a year and a half
ago, to capture her sensuality and beauty in intimate black and white
portraits. Little did she know, that she was pregnant at the time, and
8 months later, I went to LA to photograph her in her new blossom
together with her love,  Mike.  

We had a fun day playing around with various styles, outfit and poses to capture their connection and Britt's blossoming belly. We even dove into heir swimming pool to experiment with dreamy underwater portraits. The photos were sensual, playful, sexy, true and timelss. 

Then, this January Britt called me. “Guess what? I’m getting married! And we want you to photograph our wedding? Please say you can.” Deeply honored that they wanted me to do my black and white thing,I said a big YES! 

The wedding took place at Ojai Valley Inn, at their barn location. Cherry blossoms were just blooming and the grass greening. Event Eleven added a beautifully decorated tent with clear sky to the groovy barn and turned it into to a lush oasis of the night. To everyone surprise, Poncho Sanchez got everyone dancing,and late night, I had a lot of fun photographing guests at our improvished Lolo's Boudoir booth. Guests were having a blast, trying on hats, gloves, boas and chaps, and have yet to see the resulting pictures!

As I am writing this, I am editing through 1000s of photos, trying to pick out the very best ones. I am literally dreaming about Britt and Mike’s fairytale wedding at night. Wow! Needless to say, I could not have done this alone! Photographer Carolyn Troadec and Michelle Gurtierrez assisted me, we had a great time, and if I may say so, did an excellent job of covering the entire day and evening. With sore feet, we crawled into bed at about 3 am with a glass of celebatory champagne! 

This was such a great experience and as such, Lolo’s Boudoir is now officially open for select wedding bookings throughout the universe. Let's celebrate love!
